Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe as the leader of the state’s contingent (Ameerul-Hajj) to 2024 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement governor AbdulRazq spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye said the State has at least three thousand (3,102) pilgrims for this year’s Hajj.

The statement said the choice of the senator is borne out of his experience and networks as a Muslim community leader.

The statement said the government believes that the senator will deploy his knowledge and understanding of the terrain to ensure improved coordination and efficiency in the exercise.
