Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has directed Muslim ummah in the country to start looking for the new crescent of RAMADAN from Tomorrow Wednesday 22nd march 2023 equivalent to Islamic calendar 29th of Sha aban
This was made known in a statement signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs, Sultanate council Sokoto state, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu
He said if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan of Sokoto.
