KASU Relocates To Permanent Site Next Month

Kaduna State University says concerted effort are on the way to ensure the movement of the school activities to the permanent site by next month ending.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Abdullahi Musa stated this to newsmen during a site seeing tour by management of the University at the permanent site along Kaduna Zaria Road.

Professor Abdullahi Musa expressed satisfaction with the overall quality of work going on at the permanent site which he said was of high grade standard that can be comparable with any civil structure globally.

‘we thank God almighty for giving us a proactive and formidable leader in the person of his excellency Mallam Nasiru Elrufai for his persistent effort and guidance to achieve this,

‘Dozens of construction are going on daily at the same time ,with the Senate building at over ninety five percent completion

while the civil structures,h ostel and other works in the permanent site are also progressing very well’,he explained.

He said that the entire management staff of the university will first move with their operations to the permanent site including senate meetings while the students will join gradually to begin their classes.

Talking on security situation around the permanent site area ,the Vice Chancellor said there was no cause for alarm, explaining that the school was sorrounded by neighbouring communities and other institutions of learning.

Radio Nigeria report that after the sight seeing,the management went for the commissioning of an ICT Centre furnished with computers for the School of Continuing Education of the State University at Kakuri Kaduna.

The project was facilitated by Hon. Mukhtar Ahmed Monrovia -Member Representing Kaduna South Federal Constituency and commissioned by Senator Uba Sani
