The New Nigeria peoples Party, NNPP says it is not in any alliance talk with the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar ahead of the forthcoming general election taking place this month.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the National Chairman of the party, Professor Rufai Alkali explained that the NNPP was preoccupied with how to win the elections and not to enter into alliance with any party or candidate.

Professor Alkali said, amongst all the presidential candidates, the NNPP presidential candidate Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso was the most qualified and prepared to lead the country on a path of recovery and progress.

The Secretary of the NNPP campaign council, Mrs. Folashade Aliyu said senator Kwankwaso has been traversing the country by road to speak with Nigerians on the best way forward for the country.
