Kwara State Police Command, says it has rescued one of the two kidnapped victims at Oluwalose Community in Okolowo area of Ilorin.
In a statement by the spokesman of the command , Okasanmi Ajayi said the success was recorded through efforts of officers and men of the command in conjunction with other security stakeholders.
Okasanmi said efforts are on to get the remaining victim rescued unharmed.
He noted that victim Alhaji Tunde Buhari who is the chairman of the community has been handed over to his family for a comprehensive medical examination.
Okasanmi advised members of the public to pay more attention to their personal security and environment .
