Christians have been tasked to utilize their gifts and talents to serve God and humanity .
Reverend Ephraim Pama stated this during the annual harvest and thanksgiving service of the Envageligal Church Winning All English Service , Dominion Avenue High Cost Kaduna.
Reverend Ephraim Pama who was the guest speaker, enjoined believers to understand that all the riches and blessings they possessed were gifts from God to be used generously. Taking his reading from Luke chapter 12:1-22, he charged the congregation to commit their plans into God’s hands because He is all knowing.
The clergyman cautioned against boastfulness, lying and covetousness, adding that such traits are not attributes of disciples of Jesus Christ.In his remarks at the service, Chairman of the occasion and member representing Chikun/Kajuru federal constituency Mr. Yakubu Barde said Christians should always be grateful to God for life and salvation as well as intensify prayers for improved security of the country .
Highlight of the Thanksgiving Service was worship and praises as worshipers were happy and grateful for God’s guidance and protection through the year .
