Gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Kaduna State Alhaji Isah Ashiru Kudan has pledged to uphold the thirty five percent affirmative action if he emerges as Governor.

He made the pledge during an interface with Nigeria Union of Journalists in Kaduna State .

In an event organised by NUJ Kaduna council to avail candidates vying for gubernatorial, senatorial and house of representatives offices the opportunity to explain their manifestos to the public, Alhaji Isah Ashiru Kudan said his five points agenda centred on security, education, health , agriculture as well as women and youth empowerment .

He said PDP as a party is guided by the thirty five percent affirmative action for women and promised to make them critical stakeholders in all sphere of governance.

Director General of the Campaign team , Mr. Haruna Saidu thanked the NUJ for creating a platform for aspirants to interact with Journalists and people of the state .

Kaduna PDP Chairman Mr. Felix Hassan Hyet represented by his Assistant Lawal Nuhu Kayarda, said the party is fully ready to take back Kaduna State and Nigeria at large to bring back its lost glory.

He said during the party’s sixteen years in power , it positively affected the lives of Nigerians.

In her response, Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists Kaduna State council , Hajia Asma’u Yawo Halilu said the council is ready to work with all the candidates as watch dogs of the society for the betterment of all.
