Speaker, Kano state House of Assembly, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, has sponsored free medical treatment of patients from Dambatta and Makoda local government areas.

This was contained in a statement signed by Chief press secretary, Kano state House of Assembly, Malam Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.

According to the statement, the free medical treatment and consultancy services is sponsored by the Speaker, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari in collaboration with Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN).

The speaker stressed that, the free medical care would commence today at General Hospital Dambatta, where people from Makoda and Dambatta would enjoy free medical services.

The Statement highlights that, Alhaji Hamisu is fully committed to the promotion of quality healthcare delivery to Dambatta and Makoda as well as the great people of the State.

“It is expected that patients from the two localities would enjoy free medical care courtesy of the Speaker Chidari and IMAN”.

The statement explains that, district Head of Dambatta who doubles as Sarkin Ban Bichi, Alhaji Isyaku Wada Waziri and that of Makoda, Barayan Bichi, Alhaji Labaran Abdullahi would commission the project.

“Patients from this two areas are therefore urged to report to the Hospital and enjoy such free medical services for their betterment”

On their part, the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN), said the body would among others give free medical treatments, and consultancy as part of their corporate social responsibility in ensuring the well being of people in the State.

IMAN commended the kind gesture of the Speaker, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, for his concern to the health of the people in Makoda and Dambatta.
