Politicians in the country have been urged to make their campaigns issue based , devoid of rancour ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The governorship candidate of Young Progressives Party ( YPP) in Kwara state , Alhaji Yakubu Garba Gobir made the call while speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.

According to him despite all odds politicians should see themselves as one family.

Alhaji Garba-Gobir advised political party supporter to avoid engaging in character assassination and political brigandage on behalf of their candidates.

He appealed to all political party supporters to go about their campaigns in an orderly manner in the interest of peace and development of the country.
