Black Panther; Wakanda Forever, the Marvel Studio’s latest production, is set to premiere in Nigeria.

A statement by Moses Babatope and Kene Okwuosa, Co-founders of FilmOne Entertainment, the official distributors of the movie in English West African territories, says the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in West Africa is a milestone for the territory.

” it will be celebrated for a long time. We are excited and fully committed to working with The Walt Disney Company, to deliver a grand African premiere, even as we channel all our arsenal towards realizing a momentous box-office performance for the title.” said FilmOne Entertainment.

The premiere will hold in Lagos, ahead of the movie’s highly anticipated theatrical release globally on November 11, 2022.

Marvel’s new trailer for the sequel confirmed that Shuri (Letitia Wright) will wear the Black Panther suit after the death of Chadwick Boseman, the highly anticipated sequel will see Wakanda threatened by newfound enemies as a lot of fan-favorite characters return for the potential record-breaking sequel.

The filming of the sequel, which took over a year of production faced a lot of challenges over minor set injuries on set and Covid-19 ailments. It started in August 2020 after months of speculations over recasting the role of King T’Challa played by Chadwick Boseman, who had died the previous year from cancer.

Temilade Openiyi ‘Terms’, was also featured on the soundtrack of Marvel Studio’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ as she sang a cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” with Kendrick Lamar, a sample of Alright.
