President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari as Special Adviser on Political Affairs.

A statement signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said Masari was first appointed in 2023 as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs.

Before his appointment into the administration, the Katsina-born politician served as Welfare Secretary of the All Progressives Congress during the tenure of former National Chairman, Senator Adams Oshiomhole.

In his new role, Masari will work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, who was appointed Special Adviser on Political Affairs in July 2023.
