Residents of Gaida Kuka Uku, kumbotso local government area were thrown into deep shock following the death of an unknown man, in a service antenna diesel tank.

Reports indicate that,the unknown victim was found unconscious with a yellow jerry can in his hand.

Confirming the incident, Public Relations Officer Kano State Fire Service, PFS Saminu Yusif Abdullahi pointed out that, the agency received an emergency call from a fire fighter Ibrahim Mukhtar Bichi.

He highlighted that, on arrival the rescue team, discovered an unconscious man inside the reservoir tank.

“All efforts to identify him proved abortive”

Pfs Saminu stressed that, the team immediately swung into action and succeeded in retrieving the victim unconscious, and later confirmed dead by health officials.

The public relations officer maintained that, the remains of the victim has been handed over to inspector Elisha Bulus of Panshekara police division.

He charged the public to report any useful information that might lead to the identification of the decease, saying that investigations have commenced to unravel the mystery behind his death.
