The Credentials Committee of Triennial Delegates Conference of National Union of Electricity Employees has declared Comrade Umar Auwalu as the new Chairman of Kaduna State Council.
According to the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Engineer Also Abubakar and the Secretary Comrade Steven Gimba said the new Chairman Comrade Umar Auwalu scored sixty four votes out of the ninety votes.
He also announced that Sheyi Nuhu Wakila emerged as the Vice Chairman of the council with eighty votes while the new Secretary Comrade Ali Ado got sixty nine votes.
Some of the members of the executive are Babalola Abubakar Assistant Secretary, Usman Shehu Muhammed PRO, Saidu Ibrahim Karaye Auditor.
Others are Haruna Muhammed Health and Safety, Sanura James Trustee.
The three Exofficos are Adamu Justina Kuman, Ibrahim Musa and Salisu AbdulAzeez.
In his acceptance speech, the elected Chairman Comrade Umar Auwalu pledged to bring policies that would carry everyone along.
He commended the past executive, officials of the election and members on how they conducted themselves during the election.
