The college of education FCE Zaria chapter of the women association Secretariat is named after serving provost Dr. Sulaiman Balarabe.

Management of Federal College of Education FCE Zaria has promised to support associations that will contribute to maintaining academic standards in the college.

The Provost of the College Dr. Sulaiman Balarabe stated this while inaugurating a committee that would oversee the affairs of Women in the College, WICE chapter.

He explained that the management was committed to uplifting women in the college to compete favorably with their male counterparts.

Also, the Chairperson of the women in the college of education committee Dr, Binta Muhammed from the chemistry department said the association had constructed a women’s Lodge, a suitable section for nursing mothers, and a resting area.

Dr, Binta Muhammed noted that the association would pay more attention to guidance and counseling, drug abuse, and the welfare of its members.

Dr. Amina Abdulkadir Salanke called on its members in the FCE Zaria to give the committee maximum support to achieve its desired objectives.

speaking, the pioneer interim caretaker of the women in college Dr, Ifioma Induke from the English department said they left behind legacies to the next generation by building the Secretariat and women skills acquisition center during their tenure.
