The Provost of the Federal College of Education FCE, Zaria Dr, Sulaiman Balarabe says the management of the institution remains committed to partnering Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union COEASU to produce quality teachers.
Dr, Sulaiman Balarabe stated this during the swearing-in ceremony of the new Union executive in Zaria.
He advised the Union executive to work as a team towards bringing positive changes to the college and that they should not support indiscipline
Speaking, the National Zonal Vice President of the Union Dr. Muhammad SHEHU jabaka charges the new Union executive to always communicate with management to achieve set goals and objectives.
Dr, Muhammad jabaka called on the provost to ensure that the Union members were not victimized when carrying out their responsibilities.
He advised the new Union executive to protect the images of the staff and the college at large.
Also Speaking, after the swearing-in, the new Union chairman comrade Ubale Ismaila Alhaji assured that the Union remains committed to collective bargaining, dialogue, negotiations, due process, and meaningful consultation.
Comrade Ubale Alhaji said the Union was ready to cooperate and work with the management to ensure that the college maintained its standard.
The chairman pointed out that the exco would do everything possible to improve the welfare of its members.
