Attainment of organisational goals and objectives in both public and private sectors had been attributed to staff commitment and dedication towards achieving the desired objectives

The Clerk and Head of Legislative Service in the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa made this known during a meeting with Parliamentary Staff Association PASAN, Kano State House of Assembly chapter.

In a statement signed by Chief press secretary, Kano state house of assembly, Malam Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in kano, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa pointed out that the house was committed to uplifting the standard of staff welfare according to global practice.

The head of legislative service charged PASAN members to be more dedicated to service, and be steadfast in upholding best legislative practice, in accordance with global trend, to make the assembly one of the best among its contemporaries in the nation.

He however solicited for the cooperation of the executive of the association, to redouble their efforts through enlightening their members on rules and ethics of their profession.

In his speech, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Staff Association PASAN, Kano State House of Assembly chapter, Comrade Bashir Yahaya said they were at the office of the Clerk to further strengthen the existing cordial working relations.

He appealed to the Clerk for improvement of welfare package, which he described as a panacea to effective service delivery.

The chairman commended the Speaker, Presiding Officers and legislators for their selfless service to humanity through the instrumentality of law making, representation and oversight functions.

“such hectic engagement is what make Kano a conducive environment for socioeconomic development in the Nation”

Comrade Bashir Yahaya reassured the Clerk that modalities had been put in place, to boost the morale of members through presenting awards to those who excelled in their different engagements among others.
