Special Adviser to the Niger state Govenor on Political Matters Alh Muhammad Nma Kolo has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful political atmosphere existing in the state despite divergent political views.
Alh Muhammad Nma Kolo stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Minna the Niger state capital.
Alh Nma Kolo maintained that in spite of the divergent political views leadership of the registered political parties and their members have been exhibiting the highest degree of decorum which has made Niger state as one of the most peaceful in Nigeria.
He noted that primaries of all the political parties were conducted under peaceful atmosphere with winners being magnanimous in their victories and losers accepting their defeat in the spirit of sportsmanship.
According to him ” There is no doubt that the peaceful conduct of all the political parties has made the state the destination of first choice for investors both local and foreign which will no doubt have a multiplier effect on the economy of Niger state.
Alh Nma Kolo however admonished the political class to sustain the tempo most especially now that full blown campaign will commence throughout the state and Nigeria.
On insecurity he said with the painstaking and methodological ways adopted by security agencies most of the bandits have been uprooted from their enclaves which has restored the hope and confidence of the people and government in the capability of our security agencies to make life worth living for the ordinary Nigerlite.
Alh Nma Kolo however added that Niger state government will continue to support security agencies with the necessary support needed to discharge their duties deligently.
