Emir Of Kaura Advocates Medical Support For Orphans

Government and wealthy individuals have been urged to help develop the orphan and less privileged clinic in Kauran Namoda to adequately take care of the orphans in the Emirate.

His Royal Highness, Emir of Kaura Namoda, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha made this call when he paid an assessment visit to the orphans clinic to assertain its status with a view to improving the health care delivery to orphans and less privileged in the Emirate.

The Emir said that there was need to further improve the management and services of the clinic, so that it would operate round the clock so as to benefit the neighbouring communities.

He who noted that the orphans need to be cared for considering the absence of their parents pledged to do everything possible to ensure that there is good synergy between his emirate and the state Zakah and endowments Board which owns the clinic as well as the state government and other community aid organizations to raise the value of the clinic.

On his part, the Health officers incharge of the clinic, Malam Bashar Lauwali said that some orphan and less privileged clinics in other emirates have already been expanded to admit patients and serves as meternity home.

The visit was attended by council members of the Emirate and other important dignitaries who provides assistance in the field of medical services at the clinic.
