Kaduna State Government has called on youths to apply their intellect and numerical strength into ventures that will propel industrial and political growth of Nigeria.

Acting Governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe stated this at the closing ceremony of the 2022 batch B stream two Orientation course in Kaduna.

She noted that youths constituted seventy-one percent of the twelve million fresh applicants in the just concluded permanent voters card registration exercise; a numerical strength that placed them in a better position to determine the votes in the 2023 general election.

She charged corps members who would be engaged in the 2023 general election not to indulge in electoral malpractices.

NYSC Director General, Brigadier General MK Fadah, represented by the State Coordinator, Mr. Oboba Abel added that corps members must remain worthy ambassadors of the scheme as membership of the service corps does not confer immunity on them from the legal consequences of any wrongdoing.

He urged corps members to indulge in activities targeted at promoting unity, peace and prosperity of the country.
