The federal commissioner of the National Population Commission in Kano Dr. Isma’il Lawal Suleiman has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing trial census in the selected local government areas of the state.

Dr. Isma’il Lawal Suleiman stated when he paid a monitoring visit to some enumeration areas of Kunchi and Danbatta local government areas.

He said the monitoring has been conducted in all most all the designated local government areas in Kano.

Dr. Isma’il Lawal Suleiman said the ongoing enumeration exercise was going smoothly, stressing that it was a clear demonstration of the success of the forthcoming 2023 general census.

The federal commissioner commended the dedication and commitment of the ad-hoc staff who were conducting the trial census.

He applauded the cooperation and support accorded to the commission by the people, traditional rulers, and relevant government agencies which lead to the success of the trial census.

” We’ve learned a lot of lessons during this trial census, and we will make the needed adjustment to succeed in the forthcoming General Census.

Salihu Hussein and Dantala zalli were some of the heads of families who had been enumerated, they applauded the commitment of the federal government and other stakeholders for conducting the trial census in the selected local government areas of the country.
