Adherence to Islamic teachings has been described as a major catalyst to societal development.
The Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim stated this in a Sallah message to the people of the State and nation in general.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief press secretary Kano state House of Assembly, Malam Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
The statement stressed the need for Nigerians to intensify prayers to Allah SWT to bring an end to the problems bedevilling the country.
The speaker, commended the gallantry approach of security agencies in their efforts towards maintaining law and order within the territorial boundary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari used the opportunity to extend his Sallah greetings to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his Deputy as well as Members of Executive and Legislative arm of Government.
The statement also fecilitates with the emirs of Kano, Bichi, Rano, Karaye, Gaya and the good people of Kano State.
