Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has urged the All Progressives Congress APC candidates to carry its members along including those that lost tickets at the primary elections.

He made the call during a meeting with all the APC candidates along with the reconciliation committee led by Alhaji Bello Maitama at the state government house in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital.

According to him, for the party to be successful in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, all hands must be on deck and the responsibility to ensure that lies on the shoulders of the candidates.

He said, “Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala is solely responsible for giving leadership to his servants when He wants and at the time He pleases. Mohammed Badaru can not make you a leader and can not deny you the opportunity to be a leader. That is Allah’s duty.”

“For those aggrieved, I am appealing to them to shield their swords and to forgive and forget, so that we can forge ahead and win elections come 2023. Everyone is important to us and we everyone to support the party we shall not let you down by the grace of God.”
