Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has received five members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP who decamped to the ruling party, All Progressives Congress APC in the state.
Alhaji Usman Masaki who spoke during the meeting with the Governor explained that, the numerous projects executed during the seven years of Badaru’s led administration in the state were remarkable and incomparable to what was happening in other states of the federation.
The decampees pointed out that, they defect to the APC because of the Governor’s transparent leadership style.
Responding, Governor Badaru Abubakar assured the new members that the party would carry them along in all the party activities while urging politicians from other political parties to join in moving the state forward.
Radio Nigeria reports that, the decampees include Alhaji Usman Masaki, Alhaji Ya’u Ado Barma and Alhaji Jibrin Kafin Hausa popularly known as Karl Marx, Alhaji Soja Kazaure, and Mallam Na Babaldu.
