Zamfara Pilgrims Set For Airlift

First batch of Zamfara state intending Pilgrims have arrived Hajj Camp in Gusau in preparation for their transportation to Sir Abubakar International Airport, Sokoto en route to Saudi Arabia for this Year’s Hajj Excercise.

The first flight (Batch) of Zamfara Intending Pilgrims were from Anka, Bakura, Bukkuyum, Birnin Magaji, Maradun, Kaura Namoda, Talata Mafara, Tsafe, Shinkafi and Maru Local Government Areas.

They are expected to be airlifted on Saturday 18th June, 2022 at the Sokoto Airport.

Earlier, Zamfara State Amirul Hajj and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya alongside executive Chairman of the state Hajj Commission, Lawal Isah Abdullahi and other officials have visited the Hajj Camp to ensure smooth operation.

The State Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle is expected to address the Intending Pilgrims before their departure to Sokoto.
