Atiku Becomes PDP’s Presidential Candidate

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has received the People’s Democratic Party, PDP presidential nomination, and will run as the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.

In a hotly contested race that saw four competitors stand down, he was closely followed by Nyesom Wike and Bukola Saraki, the two-term governor of Kwara state and former Senate President

Results were collated at about 10:30PM after delegates were accredited and voted.
