Youth Development Will Be Given Top Priority- Bolaji Abdullah

Former minister of sports and youth development, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has called for the empowerment of the teaming youth in skills acquisition to reduce their restiveness and make them self reliant.

Mallam Bolaji made the call in Ilorin, while speaking with Journalists in response to his nomination as the PDP candidate to represent the people of Kwara Central Senatorial district at the National Assembly.

According to him, if elected he will join hands with all those that matters to give Youth empowerment utmost priority.

Bolaji vowed to take the job very seriously and work harder than expected.

He explained that such opportunity should not be taken for granted, adding that the national assembly is a center of representation of the people where the business of the government actually take place.

Bolaji noted that there is the need to focus more on the nation’s 60% youth population who are between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
