A Philanthropist, Maryam Abdullahi, Jagaban Matan Zazzau has donated food items to Zaria Custodial Centre in Kaduna State and paid N509,000 to secure the release of 10 inmates.

Maryam Abdullahi gave the released convicts N10,000 each to start businesses when they get back to their respective homes.

The Jagaban Matan Zazzau who donated bags of rice, 25 cartons of spaghetti and 25 bags of semovita said the gesture was to replicate what she had been to her immediate community in the FCT
