Deputy Senate leader and the Senator representing Ondo North of Ondo State, Professor Ajayi Borofice has joined the 2023 Presidential race under the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC.

The three-term Senator in his official declaration in Abuja promised to address the lingering security challenges through adequate provision of funds to security agencies, as well as deployment of modern technologies in the fight against terrorism.

The pioneer Director-General of NARSDA said if elected as President of Nigeria he will coordinate policies that would enhance steady electricity supply to boost socio-economic activities in the country.

Prof Borrofice explained that he will focus on job creation by prioritizing made in Nigeria products as well as direct the CBN to constantly gives necessary incentives to local manufacturing industries to improve their productivity.

He said as Academia, he will ensure adequate funding in the education sector to minimize incessant industrial action as well as promote research works.

The Federal Lawmaker reiterated that as an experienced lawmaker, he will ensure the total implementation of policies and programmes that promote the welfare of ordinary Nigerians.
