The Acting Governor of Zamfara State Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha has felicitated with Muslim ummah across the state on the occasion of the 2022 Eid-el-fitri celebration.
Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha made the felicitation at a sallah broadcast made in Gusau the state capital.
He said for the past thirty days, Muslims all over the world have observed the fasting in the sacred month of Ramadan in compliance with the Islamic rites, as fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam.
Senator Hassan also implored all Muslims to remain steadfast in applying the virtues of Ramadan through sustained supplication, hospitality and good neighborliness, as well as imbibe the spirit of sharing in their daily lives.
He also called on Muslims to ensure brotherly conduct in the evolving political activities to enable them to elect leaders of their choice in an atmosphere of tranquillity and stability.
The Acting Governor also appealed to all Muslims in the state to pray for lasting peace in the state and the country at large.
He assured people of the state that, state government and security agencies have strategies efforts to intensify enforcement of the laws during this festive season and beyond.
