Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Chika Malami (SAN) has declared his intention to contest for the Kebbi State Governorship position.

He made the declaration at Birnin Kebbi saying, the decision was made after consultation with the Political stakeholders in the state.

Abubakar Malami commended the efforts of the people of the state and APC chieftain for their call on him to come out and contest for the 2023 Gubernatorial seat of the state.

Responding, Kebbi State Governor, Senator Atiku Bagudu commended the effort of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General for bring unity in to the state politics and his support to the youth.

“You merit this position and may God bless and continue to uplift you, you helped the people of kebbi State by empowering them through cash and employment, am supporting your aspiration”.

Speaking, Kebbi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana Zuru, assured the Minister of the party’s support towards promoting unity and his aspiration.

He however called on all Party officials to support Malami for his mission and ensure that APC deliver in the state.

Similarly, the supporters and associates of the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, (SAN) have gathered a total of N130million as a support for his Kebbi 2023 gubernatorial ambition.
