Former All Progressives Congress APC Gubernotorial aspirant from Niger state DR Aminu Mohammed Baka has expressed satisfaction over the maturity displayed by aspirants to the National Convention of APC for accepting in good faith decision of President Muhammadu Buhari for consensus candidate to be chosen.

He stated this in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna.

DR Aminu Mohammed Baka stressed the need for those who were not picked as consensus candidates to join hand the new party executives to work towards retaining the Presidential seat and other elective positions in the twenty twenty three general elections.

According to him there is no winner nor loser in the convention because the primary interest is to strengthen and unite members of ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Nigeria.

DR Aminu Mohammed Baka also commended efforts of the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee led by it’s Chairman Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state and Niger state Governor Alh Abubakar Sani Bello who stood in for him when preparations for the convention was on top gear which has ended peacefully.

He however expressed confidence that the new National Chairman of APC Senator Abdullahi Adamu will move the party to greater heights and called for collective efforts to succeed.
