NIgeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kaduna State Council has condoled the Trade Union Congress TUC over the death of its Secretary General Comrade Barrister Musa Lawal Ozigi and the Chairman Kwara State Comrade Akinsola Akinwunmi during the Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

This was contained in a statement by the State Chairperson, Comrade Ayuba Magaji Suleiman and made available to newsmen in Kaduna.

NLC also extended its condolences to the government of Kaduna State and the families of those who lost their loved ones during the attack.

“It’s really unfortunate that the Abuja-Kaduna train attack happened two days after the International Airport Kaduna was attacked, government at all levels and the security agencies are trying but they need to do more.

“Their action was not only barbaric but ridiculous to the Nigerian state as a nation and the Government must not give them another chance to attack the train or motorists on our roads,” the statement says.

NLC while commending security agencies for their prompt action during the attack, appealed that more efforts should be put in place to address the reoccurrence of such ugly act.
