Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has approved the appointment of Chairmen and Board Members of the four Government parastatals, Boards and Agencies, as part of continuous efforts to strengthen Jigawa State Government Structures.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini in Dutse.
Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini said the newly appointed chairmen and board members for mass education include Dr. Abubakar Muhammad Sani as Chairman Governing Board while Hussaini Abdullahi, Ya’u Adamu Burton and Faisal Jazuli Kazaure as members of the board.
He said Nasiru Modi Hadejia was appointed as Chairman Governing Board of Agency for Nomadic education, while Mallam Ya’u Bajida, Ali Manu and Umar Auno as board members of the agency.
Abdulkadir Fanini futher said, the Governor appointed Professor Usman Haruna as Chairman Governing Board of the state research institute Kazaure while the board members of the institute include Ahmad Dauda Abubakar, Abdulkarim Zargina and Magaji Abdullahi Jahun
The SSG pointed out that, the State Deputy Governor Mallam Umar Namadi was also appointed as Chairman Governing Board of Invest-Jigawa and Dr. Muhammad Sagagi as Vice Chairman.
He added that, the state Commissioners of Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry for Local Government, Ministry of Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Ministry of Lands, Housing, Urban Development and Regional Planning as Board Members.
Others also include Hannatu Sabo, Aliyu Yusuf Madobi Alyuma, Barrister Suleiman Jahun and Lami Zubairu Babura as Board Members.
Fanini said the appointments were with immediate effect
