Kano state house of assembly has called on the state government to as a matter of urgency expedite action on the speedy prosecution of the alleged killers of a five year old girl in Kano.

The call was made during today’s plenary session presided over by the speaker Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari.

In a motion of public importance sponsored by member representing Nasarawa local government area, Alhaji Umar Musa Gama, sponsored by the lawmakers.

The lawmakers pointed out that, there’s need for the house to mandate the state government to take strict measures against perpetrators of the evil act.

Alhaji Umar Gama said, the state should also map out new policies that will protect children against all forms of aggression.

While contributing to the motion,majority leader of the house Alhaji Labaran Abdul Madari,Abdullahi Iliyasu Yaryasa and Salisu Muhammad Doguwa, expressed their support to the motion of public importance.

After careful deliberations, the house mandated it’s house standing committees on judiciary and women affairs to investigate and submit it’s report within four weeks, for further legislative action

Radio Nigeria recalls that, earlier Kano state government revoked the operating licence of noble kids academy after the remains of the five year old girl Hanifa Abubakar, was discovered at the school premises.

Meanwhile, some irate youths set fire on the school located at Kwanar Dakata in Nasarawa local government area Kano.
