The Police Commissioner in charge of Zamfara State Ayuba Elkana has urged the newly promoted police officers to redouble efforts to justify their elevation through professionalism
CP Ayuba Elkana gave the charge while decorating the newly promoted Officers serving in the State, at the Command headquarters, Gusau.
He said Ninety nine Deputy Superintendents of Police were decorated with new rank of Superintendents of Police while seventy six unconfirmed Assistant Superintendents of Police were also decorated with the substantive rank of Assistant Superintendents of Police
The Commissioner of Police congratulates the newly promoted officers and urges them to redouble their commitment and hard work, so that they can justify their new rank.
He reminded them that, higher responsibilities and challenges have now been added to their schedule of duty, and therefore charges them to do best in wherever they found themselves.
The CP thanked the Inspector General of Police, Alkali Baba and the Police Service Commission for promoting the officers, saying that, this would go a long way in lifting the morale of the officers and enhancing their productivity.
Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, SP Hassan Bala expressed their appreciation to the IGP for considering them worthy of promotion, and also to the Commissioner of Police for the decoration and fatherly advice.
