Federal Government in collaboration with African development bank have executed agricultural projects worth seventeen point seven billion naira in five local government areas in Jigawa state.

Senator representing Jigawa North-East, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia made this known while inspecting some projects sites in Auyo and Kafin Hausa local government.

According to him, the projects is under agricultural transformation agenda support program of the federal government.

He commended Governor Badaru Abubakar for the support and cooperation towards the successful conduct of the program.

In his speech, the Zonal program coordinator ATASP Kano/Jigawa Auwal Ado Shehu thanked Governor Badaru Abubakar for releasing counterpart funding.

He said the projects reached 50 percent completion of 41.5 feeder road from Hadejia Jama’are barraged to Ansaye to Galauchi to Miga and from Auyo to Zabarau to Gudito to Maskangayu for transporting food items. 

He commended senator Ibrahim Hassan for his effort towards increasing the tenure of the program to two years.
