Niger state Command of the Nigeria Police has deployed seven thousand personnels that will assist to provide a water tide security before during and after the Yuletide.

Commissioner of Police in charge of the state Mr Monday Bala Kuryas said this in a telephone interview with Radio Nigeria in Minna.

Mr Monday Bala Kuryas explained further that all officers and men of the Niger state Police Command will be actively involved in the provision of adequate security since according to him providing adequate security requires collective efforts by all to succeed.

He however said adequate security personnels would be deployed to Churches recreation centres and other public places to safeguard lives and properties.

Mr Monday Bala Kuryas advised Nigerlites to celebrate the Yuletide without fear of intimidation or harrassment.

Meanwhile Niger state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has deployed a total of one thousand two hundred members of the Corps to complinent efforts of sister security agencies in providing maximum security for a hitch free and succesful celebrations.
