The central Bank of Nigeria has reaffirmed it’s determination in sensitizing stakeholders measures of keying into the E-Naira platform geared towards enhancing the Nation’s Economy.

The Director Corporate Communications of CBN Mr Osita Nwanusube stated this during a a Fair organized by the central Bank,held in Kano.

He said the objectives of the stakeholders meeting was to have conversations with the Public aimed at eliciting responses on how the CBN policies ,programmes and interventions were performing in the Market place.

The Director noted that as the world is Gradually moving from fuel Economy to Digital Economy ,the E -naira serves as the Digital equivalent of the physical Naira.

” With the e-naira there are greater possibilities and things that can actually be Achieved ie financial inclusion, Diaspora Remittances ,cross boarder trades and Enhancing Government tax collections Against Others”

He added that the training would play a vital road in enlightening modalities of onboarding into the E – Naira platforms.

The meeting was attended by the business Community, Corps members , and other stakeholders.
