Governor Badaru Abubakar, has approved the appointment of chairmen and board members of the 21 government parastatals, boards and agencies, as part of continuous efforts to strengthen the state gvernment structures.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Adamu Abdulakadir Fanini and made available to Radio Nigeria in Dutse.
The state explained that the newly appointed chairmen and board members include, Governor Badaru Abubakar as Chairman the state emergency management agency, while the state Deputy Governor Mallam Umar Namadi will serve as Chairman Jigawa invest.
Others also include Alhaji Inuwa Tahir as chairman of the state manpower development institute, Alhaji Baffa Abdulkadir(Kabon Hadejia as member, jigawa contributory health management agency amongst others.
The statement said all the appointments are with immediate effect.
