All Progressives Congress APC in Jigawa state says it is yet to receive any petition after the ward congresses conducted two weeks ago.

The State Deputy Governor Mallam Umar Namadi disclosed this at the state party office when he received members of the appeal committee from national secretariat of the party in Dutse.

Mallam Umar Namadi described Jigawa state APC as one family ,pointing that the party had a history of winning all elective positions in the last general elections.

Earlier In his welcome address, the state chairman caretaker committee of the party Alhaji Umar Muhammad Dikuma said the ward congresses were free fair and successful in all the two hundred and Eighty seven political wards in the state.

Also Speaking, the chairman of the appeal committee,Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar said they were in the state to ensure that the ward congresses was free and fair.

Commenting, the chairman of APC Miga local Government who is also the chairman of state APC Local Government chairmen Alhaji Isah Musa Miga, commended national secretariat of the party for setting up the committee to ensure peace and unity among the party supporters.
