Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has felicitated with all Muslim faithful as they join others around the globe to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

This is contained in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Lafia by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Malam Inuwa Ibrahim Addra.

He said the feast of Eid-el-Kabir is a test of faith in commemoration of the submission by Prophet Ibrahim and calls for sacrifice.

The  Governor reminded Muslim faithfuls of the need to be steadfast and assist the needy to ameliorate their hardship.

According to him, though the dwindling economy of the nation is taking its toll on people it is rewarding to share and care for the less privilege and vulnerable persons.

Alhaji Abdullahi Sule urged Nigerians to be supportive of the present administration as it proffers solutions to the current economic downturn and security challenges bedeviling the country.

He admonished Muslim Faithfuls to live a life of selflessness, brotherhood, sacrifice and adherence to Allah’s commands beyond the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Governor Sule appealed to all road users to obey traffic regulations and urged officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission and other security agencies to intensify the enforcement of the law during the festivity.
