The Commander General of the kano state hisbah board Sheikh Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina said the board has deployed over 900 personal to maintain law and order, ensure compliance to covid 19 protocols during Eid ul kabir celebrations across the 44 local government areas.
The commander general made this known in a statement by the public relations officer of the agency in Kano.
According to the statement, a large number of plain clothes hisbah corp members would be posted to the eight metropolitan local governments to ensure maximum security and safety of all.
He maintained that,the hisbah personnel would ensure maintainance of law and order in Eid grounds,motor parks,recreational centers among others.
The commander general said the hisbah board would also advocate for total compliance to covid 19 protocols to curtail the spread of the deadly disease during and after the sallah festivities.
Sheikh Ibn Sina urged parents and guardians to be more vigilant and desist from sending underage children on errands, sallah visitations without adult supervision due to the rising cases of missing children during such occasions.
He charged the general public to compliment governments efforts by reporting any suspected person or character to relevant authorities as the Kano state hisbah board will not relent in it’s efforts of sanitizing Kano aginst all forms of vices.
