Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Muhammad saad Abubakar has directed Muslims in the country to start looking for the new moon of zulhijja from tomorrow the tenth of July 2021 equivalent to Islamic calander. 29/1442.AH
This was made known in a statement signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs, sultanate council Prof.sambo wali junaidu. Sokoto state
The statement says if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to the sultanate.
