The Vice Chancellor Kwara state University ,Malete, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi, has canvassed for an in-depth research of specific security challenges to identify the root causes and develop actionable solutions to curb security threats in country.
Professor Akanbi stated this while Speaking with newsmen on the state of the nation in Ilorin.
He said the present situation in Nigeria required critical thinking and education in curbing its debilitating effects on Nigerians.
Professor Akanbi urged Nigerians to come together as one to nip the security threats in the bud.
He also called for massive investment in education, skills acquisition and the provision of employment by government at all levels.
Professor Akanbi maintained that Nigeria was passing through turbulent period that required oneness and unity of Nigerians to tackle it.
