Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Retired Colonel Milland Dixon-Dikio

The Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Retired Colonel Milland Dixon-Dikio has urged delegates and trainees to shun violence as a means of drawing attention which should not be associated with people of the Niger-Delta.

He made the remarks over the weekend at the graduation ceremony of Presidential Amnesty Programme delegates trained in Pipeline Welding and Fabrication, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Sandblasting, General Safety, Electrical Installation and Maintenance.

Retired Colonel Milland Dixon-Dikio said the world was now focusing on technology and innovative skills in the new digital era, urging youths in the region to channel their strength towards acquiring digital skills.

While congratulating the delegates on the successful completion of their training, he charged them to take advantage of the various skills they had acquired to create wealth for themselves, their families, and the society.

The Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme used the occasion to appeal to lawmakers in the National Assembly to help in building the network needed to position the Niger Delta as a safe place to live and do business in the country.
