Kwara State Government has finaly opened the 10 grant-aided mission schools that refused to obey it’s directives on reopening for lessons following controversy over hijab controversy.

Radio Nigeria witnessed the opening by government officials using welding saw to cut the chains and locks on the gates.

The cutting of the pad locks were done in the presence of armed security men and officials of the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

The teachers were seen standing outside the school gates waiting patiently for the opening of the gates.

The state government had in a statement issued by the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission, Mallam Bello Abubakar warned that any principal or teacher who fail to resume will face the full wrath of the law.
