Major General Sagir Yaro has taken over as the thirtieth Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy-NDA.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, Major Bashir Jajira in Kaduna.
The statement quoted the immediate past Commandant, Major General Jamil Sarham describing the new Commandant as a thorough bred officer whose vast experience would add value to the ongoing developmental projects in the Academy.
Responding, the new Commandant ,Major General Sagir Yaro pledged to sustain and improve on the developmental strides recorded by his predecessor.
He charged staff of the Academy on team work in order to succeed in the important task of producing well trained officers for Nigerian Armed forces.
