Agriculture has been described as the only way of creating jobs opportunities and economic growth in the country.
Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state stated this at the 10th conference of the National Association of Voice of the masses in Dutse.
He assured the present administration’s commitment to continue introducing more initiative on modern farming techniques.
The Alhaji Badaru commended the leadership of the association for choosing the Jigawa state as venue for the conference.
Also speaking, chairman of the association Comrade Zaidu Bala Kofa expressed satisfaction with commitment of the state government on agriculture
He appreciated a number of initiatives introduced by the government in boosting economic wellbeing of the people through agricultural potentials of the state.
Radio Nigeria reports that the 10th round conference of the association with a theme agriculture bedrock for National development, honoured an award of best agricultural Governor of the year to Alhaji Badaru Abubakar.
