Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has signed the 2021 Appropriation Bill of N137.6billion naira into law.

AbdulRazq signed the budget at the government house on Ahmadu Bello way in Ilorin.

He assured that his administration will build on the ongoing infrastructural development in the state and increased investments in social protection and youths empowerment.

AbdulRazaq has also assented to the bill repealing pension payments to former Governors and former Deputy Governors in the state.

In his remark, the Speaker, Kwara state House Assembly, Yakubu Danladi, who led members of the House of Assembly to the brief budget signing ceremony, said members of the public were unanimous on the need to repeal the pension law during the hearing.
