The Nigerian Army has reaffirm it’s commitment in providing befitting Accomodations for officers and men,with the aim of boosting their morale to discharge their constitutional responsibility diligently.

The chief of Army staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, stated this while commissioning newly constructed 3blocks of 15 units officers transit Accomadation at 73 battalion Janguza barracks Kano.

Lieutenant General Yusuf Tukur Burutai represented by the General commanding officer one Division Major General Usman Mohammad said improving the walfare of officers and men of the Army was among the top priorities of the current leadership of the Nigerian Army.

He said the projects were constructed under the chief of Army special intervention projects which was aimed at alleviating Accommodations problems within the barracks.

Major General Usman Mohammad explained that other infrastructural projects were ongoing at the Janguza Barracks,which includes additional Accommodations for both officers and soldiers, company offices and the complete walling of the barrack which will commence soon.

He noted that other projects were still ongoing in the division in kaduna,saying the zeal and commitment exhibited by the chief of Army staff is highly commendable.

In his remark the commander 3 brigade, Brigadier General Bamidele Alabi said the project will assist immensely in addressing the Accommodations challenges in Janguza barracks.

He urged officer and men of the 73 battalion Janguza barracks Kano to Reciprocate the gesture by being committed to their assigned responsibilities.
